Christmas Cookie Fudge: A Festive Sweet Treat

Christmas Cookie Fudge is a delightful combination of rich, creamy fudge and the festive flavors of holiday cookies. Perfect for gifting or adding to your holiday dessert table, this recipe is quick to prepare and doesnโ€™t require any special equipment.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional for added flavor)
  • 1 cup crushed Christmas cookies (like sugar cookies, gingerbread, or shortbread)
  • 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan:
    • Line an 8ร—8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Set aside.
  2. Melt the Chocolate:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add Flavor and Cookies:
    • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract (and almond extract, if using). Fold in the crushed Christmas cookies and half of the sprinkles.
  4. Spread and Decorate:
    • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Sprinkle the remaining sprinkles on top for a festive finish.
  5. Chill the Fudge:
    • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2-3 hours, or until firm. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang.
  6. Slice and Serve:
    • Cut into small squares and serve. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
