Ingredients
Scale
- ½ Pound Frozen French Fries
Instructions
- Prepare the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat option, run it at 400 degrees for about 3 minutes.
- Add the Fries: Place the frozen French fries in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are evenly spread out to ensure even cooking.
- First Cook: Cook the fries at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Toss the fries a couple of times during this period to promote even cooking.
- Second Cook: After the initial 10 minutes, toss the fries again and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve: Once the fries are golden and crispy, remove them from the air fryer. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce, like ketchup!
Notes
For extra crispy fries, you can extend the cooking time by a few minutes, checking frequently to avoid burning.
If you’re cooking more than ½ pound of fries, you may need to increase the cooking time and toss the fries more frequently for even results.
This recipe works with different types of frozen fries, including shoestring, crinkle-cut, and steak fries. Adjust the cooking time as needed based on the thickness of the fries.
