Ingredients
- 6 slices of bacon, diced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans (15 oz each) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cook the Bacon:
- In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
- Cook the Beef and Vegetables:
- In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the Ingredients:
- Stir in the pinto beans, kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, barbecue sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Simmer the Beans:
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld. Add the cooked bacon back into the pot.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Serve hot as a side dish or main course with cornbread or over rice.
